Hosting with GitHub Pages
This website is hosted with GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub. When someone visits the website, GitHub records the visitor’s IP address and technical request information for security and service operation. I do not independently collect or evaluate these access logs.
This processing serves the legitimate interest of providing the website reliably and securely and is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details about GitHub’s processing, retention, and international data transfers are available in the GitHub Privacy Statement and the GitHub Pages documentation.
Locally hosted resources
The fonts, MathJax mathematics renderer, and Mermaid diagram renderer used by this website are served together with the website from the same host. Displaying them does not cause the visitor’s browser to connect to a separate font, script, analytics, or content delivery service.
Theme preference and local storage
This website does not include first-party analytics or advertising. Its own code does not set
cookies. When a visitor chooses a light or dark color theme, the selected value is stored under the
key theme in the browser’s local storage. The setting remains on the visitor’s device until it is
deleted and is not transmitted to me. It is used only to restore the visitor’s chosen appearance on
later visits.
Contact by email
When someone contacts me by email, I process the sender’s address, the message, and associated technical metadata in order to answer the inquiry. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and my legitimate interest in responding to messages. If the communication concerns a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract, processing is instead based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Rights of data subjects
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, visitors have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of, and restriction of processing of their personal data. They may also have a right to data portability and a right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Requests may be sent to the email address listed in the imprint.
Visitors also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR. Information about the supervisory authority in Baden-Württemberg is available from the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
